Why Do I Need a UV Bulb?
A UV bulb is essential for maintaining a healthy aquarium or pond environment. It emits ultraviolet
(UV-C) light that effectively reduces pathogens in the water and prevents algae growth.
Key Benefits:
Pathogen Reduction: UV C light denatures bacteria and viruses, rendering them inactive and reducing the risk of disease outbreaks.
Algae Control: By eliminating free floating algae, UV light helps clear green water, enhancing visibility and aesthetic appeal.
Chemical Free Solution: Utilising UV light is a natural method to maintain water quality without
the need treatments.
Parasite Management: UV sterilisation can aid in controlling parasites in aquariums, contributing to overall fish health.
Regular maintenance, including timely bulb replacement, is crucial to ensure optimal performance
of your UV steriliser.
