If you need to check or replace the UV bulb in your 700IF+ filter, follow these simple steps.

Before handling or attempting maintenance, disconnect the mains electricity supply and refer to your product instruction manual for troubleshooting guidance.
How to Change the UV Bulb
- Ensure the unit is unplugged from the mains power supply.
- Press both clips on either side of the unit to remove the bottom casing.
- Unscrew the securing quartz cover/locking screw.
- Twist the cap anti-clockwise until it reaches the locking fixture.
- Gently twist and pull the quartz sleeve off to expose the UV bulb.
- Remove the old bulb and replace it with a 9W UV bulb (compatible with the 700IF+).
- Reassemble by reversing the steps above, ensuring all components are securely in place.
How to Check the UV Bulb
- Ensure the UV light is switched on before proceeding.
- Press both clips on either side of the unit to remove the bottom casing.
- Unscrew the securing quartz cover/locking screw.
- Twist the cap anti-clockwise until it reaches the locking fixture.
- Gently twist and pull the quartz sleeve off to expose the UV bulb.
- Inspect the bulb:
- Ensure it is firmly in place and has not become loose during transit.
- Check that all filaments are intact and undamaged.
