If you're not getting bubbles when using your venturi, there are a few simple checks you can carry out to resolve the issue.
Steps to Check Your Venturi:
Check the Airline for Damage or Kinks:
- Inspect the clear airline connected to the venturi. Make sure there are no kinks or damage, as this can restrict airflow.
Ensure the Airline is Properly Connected:
- Check that the airline is fully connected to the filter. Refer to your user manual to confirm the correct connection points.
Check the Black Valve Position:
- The black valve should be positioned outside the water of the aquarium tank. Make sure it is not submerged.
Open the Black Valve Fully:
- Twist the top of the black valve to ensure it is fully open. This will allow oxygen to be drawn in and bubbles to form. You can adjust the valve to control the amount of oxygen being pulled through, depending on the level of bubbles you need.
