The All Pond Solutions Koi Pond Filter System is a comprehensive box filtration solution designed to effectively filter pond water. It utilizes a variety of filter media, including both fine and coarse foams, to keep your pond water crystal clear.
Filter Operation
This filtration system uses different filter media distributed across multiple compartments inside the filter bay, enabling it to filter high volumes of water efficiently. The system includes:
- Two (2) Blue Coarse Filter Foams
- Two (2) Yellow Fine Filter Foams
The filter has four stages of filtration:
- First Stage: Water enters the filter media bay, which is stocked with media of your choice.
- Second Stage: The water passes through high-quality Japanese matting.
- Third Stage: The water flows through the provided filter foams.
- Fourth Stage: The last section of the filter bay has additional space for more filter media.
Important Notes
- Box filters are not pressurised.
- They must be positioned above water level to operate effectively.
- Pipework cannot be attached to the filter.
- Sponges need replacing once per season.
- Box filters MUST be used with a pump.
- To clean the filter, simply pull the handles to lift the sponges.
- Ensure the filter is positioned at the highest water level to prevent overflow.
Note: Never attach pipework to the outlet of the filter.
